Margie Hobbs

Talented vocalist and pianist.

Margie Hobbs grew up near Brisbane Australia where she attended the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. After graduating with a performance degree in concert piano, Margie travelled to Boston where she earned an advanced degree from Berklee College of Music. 

Margie has literally performed all around the world as a pianist/vocalist for several world-class cruise lines.  Most recently, Margie performed for the inaugural cruise of the brand new "Viking Mississippi" river ship. 

Margie has also played in many 5 star venues in the New England area including the Ritz Carlton, Park Plaza, Westin Hotel, and the Copley Marriott.

Margie heard Charlie playing with a local band and asked a mutual friend to contact him about playing with her for a night.  Margie and Charlie met at the gig and when they started playing, realized they had a magical connection.  They met the following day and decided to strike out as a musical duo and subsequently, as life partners.

Charlie Taormina

Accomplished musician playing Bass (electric and  Stand-up), trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, vocals.

Charlie has played Bass and Trumpet with many popular bands in Boston, the South Shore, and South Coast areas.  While playing bass with "American Style", Charlie opened for Jay Leno at the Melody Tent in Hyannis, also opened for Tavares and was booked opposite the Maynard Ferguson big band at Johnny Yee's in Yarmouth.  Charlie has been the bass player with the "Meadowlarks" big band from New Bedford, the Cape Cod Conservatory big band, and plays trumpet with the Stage Door Canteen big band.  Charlie has also played and backed shows in "house" bands at the Seacrest in Falmouth and Johnny Yee's in Yarmouth. Charlie has travelled with the Bob McNeil and the Vic Sarno shows.

Most recently, Charlie was working as a free lance musician on the Cape when he met Margie Hobbs.  Margie and Charlie clicked beautifully and knew that they were meant to embark on their new adventure as a versatile musical duo.
